A new adventure for GSM RACING in 2019. Andrea Grillini’s Team in fact confirms his intention to continue in the World Endurance Championship and with an all-Italian team. At the event that, in keeping with tradition, was held at La Rascasse in Monte Carlo, the team manager Andrea Grillini introduced the riders Stefano Fugardi and Federico and Christian Napoli who will race for the team this season. Stefano Fugardi is a young upstart of motorcycle racing. 23 years old, from Rome, Stefano has already raced with the team at Bold’Or in Le Castellet and has confirmed his presence for the rest of the season. Federico and Christian Napoli are originally from Albenga and have made their entire motorcycle career as adversaries in the same championships. They have already raced two editions of the World Endurance Championship and their experience in this type of racing will certainly help the team.
Andrea Grillini, interviewed by Giovanni di Pillo, commented: “It’s our first season in the EWC and it will certainly be an exciting experience. It is a very intense championship even made only of five races. The experience at Bol d’Or has been fantastic and I am sure that in the future the EWC, in some countries still little known, will become a reference championship. I am happy to have chosen the EWC and I thank my sponsors for giving us the necessary support. ”
Next race is the 24 hours of Le Mans, France on April 20-21, 2019.
