2022 marks a very important chapter for Aprilia Racing in its recent MotoGP history. The Italian team has achieved Official Team status.
It does so by fielding the new RS-GP 2022 on the starting grid with extremely high-level riders. Alongside the confirmed ‘captain’ Aleix Espargarò will be Maverick Vinales, the newcomer to Aprilia. In the dual role of tester and wild-card rider will be Lorenzo Salvadori, the young Italian rider who has shown consistent progress since his debut in an extremely selective competition.
SC-Project joins this ambitious project as Aprilia Racing’s Official Technical Supplier of Exhausts with the aim of designing, developing and manufacturing the highest-performance exhaust system for the RS-GP 2022, creating a winning and totally Italian combination in the top motorcycle category, MotoGP.
Looking ahead, the new riders for the 2025 season will be Jorge Martin, 2024 world champion, and Marco Bezzecchi, ready to write new chapters of success in the history of Aprilia Racing.
