Aprilia and SC-Project formalize and strengthen a technical and commercial partnership that began in 2021 and founded on shared values of innovation, performance, and the continuous pursuit of excellence. Thisagreement arises from the integration of Aprilia’s racing heritage and advanced engineering capabilities with SC-Project’s established expertise in the development of high-performance exhaust systems.
The collaboration is grounded in ongoing and structured dialogue between the respective technical departments of both companies, with the objective of developing solutions that effectively combine performance, reliability, and superior manufacturing quality.
From MotoGP to the road to provide technology without compromise: the partnership betweenAprilia and SC-Project originates at the highest level of international motorsport, with MotoGP serving as a benchmark for absolute technological excellence. Within this highly demandingenvironment, Aprilia selected SC-Project as its strategic partner for the development of advancedsolutions based on premium materials, continuous research and development, weight optimization, and top-tier performance standards.
The expertise developed on the racetrack is directly transferred to products designed for road motorcycles, ensuring technological continuity between racing applications and series production.
Experience gained across multiple competitive platforms—including MotoGP, the RS660 and RS457 trophies, and endurance competitions such as the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) and the Africa Eco Race—constitutes a fundamental pillar of this collaboration. This racing background enables the direct transfer of technology and know-how into the development of products intended for the global market.

SC-Project serves as an official supplier to the Piaggio Group, providing not only aftermarket exhaust systems for key models within the Aprilia range (Tuareg 660, RS and Tuono 660, RSV and Tuono V4), but also homologated exhaust systems supplied as original equipment (Aprilia RS660 Extrema, Tuareg 660 Rally), as well as highly technological special and exclusive limited editions(RSV4 X-Trenta, RSV4 X-3, RSV4 X-GP).
This synergy reaffirms the shared commitment of both companies to innovation, quality, and passion—core values that have consistently distinguished Aprilia and SC-Project within the international motorcycle industry.
X 250TH
The Aprilia X 250TH is a unique motorcycle in the world: the only production motorcycle equipped with carbon-carbon brakes derived from MotoGP, confirming its direct connection with the pinnacle of motorcycle racing. It is the most powerful RSV4 ever built, with 240 hp and a weight of 165 kg, offering an unprecedented riding experience.
This sixth generation of the “X” brand stands out for its advanced aerodynamics, with solutions directly derived from the RS-GP, such as seat wings and tail wings, which improve stability, braking and cornering behaviour. The “Stars and Stripes” livery celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence.
The 1,099 cc V4 engine develops 240 hp, supported by racing components and advanced electronics with a fully adjustable APX control unit. The chassis features an aluminium frame, Öhlins suspension and magnesium wheels, delivering performance at the highest level.
Produced in only 30 units, 25 of which are destined for the USA, the Aprilia X 250TH represents the pinnacle of Aprilia Racing technological excellence, designed for collectors and enthusiasts who want to experience genuine MotoGP sensations.
RSV4 X-GP
The Aprilia RSV4 X-GP is a limited and numbered edition created for those seeking extreme, uncompromising track performance. Designed by the Aprilia Racing Corse Department with the aim of bringing the most advanced technology directly to the racetrack, every detail of this motorcycle is conceived for the purest racing experience.
To unleash its full 238 hp, the RSV4 X-GP relies on SC-Project, which develops a complete titanium exhaust system in a 4-2 MotoGP replica configuration, designed in collaboration with Aprilia engineers. Made from ultra-lightweight materials and featuring exclusive performance treatments, this exhaust allows the motorcycle to release all its power and racing sound at high revs.
Not approved for road use, the RSV4 X-GP is designed exclusively for the track, where every acceleration, braking manoeuvre and corner becomes a pure expression of adrenaline, control and technology. With SC-Project at the heart of the project, this motorcycle transforms the riding experience into an authentic rider’s act.
RSV4 ex3ma
The Aprilia RSV4 X ex3ma is a pure track motorcycle, created for those seeking extreme performance without compromise. Every detail is designed for excellence, with exclusive materials and solutions derived directly from racing.
At the heart of the motorcycle is the complete titanium exhaust system with SC-Project carbon silencers, developed in close collaboration with Aprilia Racing technicians. Built to racing specifications, with ultra-lightweight materials and special treatments, this system brings performance to the highest level, delivering power, precision and reliability.
Not approved for road use, the RSV4 X ex3ma is designed exclusively for the track: every corner, acceleration and braking manoeuvre becomes pure adrenaline and control, with SC-Project technology transforming riding into a racing experience.
RSV4 XTRENTA
A special edition limited to just 100 units, created to celebrate 30 years since Aprilia’s first World Championship title in the Motorcycle World Championship, RSV4 XTrenta is a project developed by Aprilia Racing.
To achieve 230 hp with this version, SC-Project worked in synergy with the Noale manufacturer’s technicians, analysing performance and results in order to supply a complete titanium exhaust system with a carbon silencer. The product is genuinely manufactured to SBK and MotoGP specifications, using exclusive materials and solutions, solid-machined titanium bushings and special treatments on the joints.
A true racing exhaust system developed by the SC-Project Racing Department — the same department that produces exhaust systems for Aprilia Racing MotoGP.
FACTORY works
Following its track debut in the one-make championship, the new Aprilia RS 660 Trofeo (Trophy) is available to all enthusiasts who want to enjoy the new lightweight Noale sports bike on the racetrack.
The track version of the RS 660 was developed by the Aprilia Racing Department and joins the Factory Works project.
The motorcycle is equipped with the technologically advanced SC-Project 2-1 Trofeo Full Titanium exhaust system with an SC1-R carbon-fibre silencer.

MotoAmerica
Twins Cup
Kaleb de Keyrel became the 2021 Twins Cup champion with 10 wins, 16 podiums and 6 pole positions in 13 races.
The rider brought the Aprilia RS 660, equipped with a Trofeo Full-Titanium complete exhaust system supplied by SC-Project, to its second Twins Cup victory.
Given the performance and results achieved, his presence was confirmed within Team Robem Engineering for the 2022 MotoAmerica Twins Cup competition, and his motorcycle was once again entered with a fully Made in Italy exhaust system.
ITALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP
SPEED
The SC-Project Racing Department develops competition products for the Aprilia RSV4 1100, working closely with Team Nuova M2 Racing in the Italian Speed Championship, SBK category (rider: Alessandro Del Bianco), and with Team MC7 Corse in the Italian National Trophy Championship (riders: Christian Gamarino and Fabrizio Perotti).
The collaboration with these top-level Italian teams enables the best possible testing of performance, reliability and continuous technical development of SC-Project products for the Aprilia RSV4.
